Lungpa  - Buddhist Order and Community practicing Vajrayana Buddhism with roots in Nyingma, Kargyu, Gelug, and other traditions. We are non secterian or rather e linieage in it´s own right,  a  Western tradition of Buddhism, maintaining a pure lineage of teachings of the Vajrayana, Tibetan, and  Mongolian traditions. Lungpa  actualizes the need for a European Order that relates to  Western culture and traditions, as Buddhism has actualized the need to adapt to local tradition and culture everywhere where it has become a successfully integrated part of cultural, family, and persoanl life.

A central element in the work of Lungpa  is to benefit all sentient beings in practice.  We are celebrating diversity in Buddhism, rather than letting secterian differences prevent those in need from receiving Dharma Teaching, Meditation Teachings, Counselling, Blessing of Marriage, Childbirth, Ceremonies for the ill, as well as a Host of other services. Lungpa is serving the Buddhist Community in Denmark, regardless which of the traditions of Buddhism the individ is practicing. Hospital visits of ill, terminally ill and dying Buddhists, as well as Not-Buddhists in need of Loving Kindness and Compassion, Dharma teaching and Yoga for all, free of charge of course.

Lungpa  and "all" it´s activities are financed by donations only, and everyone is wellcome to get a status of Lungpa  economy at any time.

Lungpa was established by Lama Zopa Kundun Rinpoche, to serve the Buddhist Community in Århus, Europe, and Anywhere, where Buddhists or others wish to learn about the teachings of the Buddha, practice Buddhism, or are interested in learning about it. Lama Zopa Kundun Rinpoche, is initiated into  several schools and lineages of Tibetan, Mongolian, other Buddhism, including Kag-yu, Nying-ma, Mongolian and Tibetan Gelugpa, Vajrabhairava, and the Four Tantra. Following his first teachers, Lama Angarika Govinda, as well as the Dalai Lama advise to celebrate diversity instead of practicing secterianism, and to study the many different traditions.

Lungpa has a regular program, including refuge, dharma teaching, individual and group teachings of meditation or yoga, retreats, initiations, ceremonies and more. For detailed information look at our program.

All teachings, services, and activities are free of charge, and all are wellcome.
